Studio assistant

B. Kaspr is looking for a part time or as needed studio assistant. The studio assistant will help with a variety of tasks and projects that will depend on the assistant’s skill sets. There are many ways to utilize a variety of skills, but professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions is paramount. Below is a basic list of applicable skills and the right candidate will be well-rounded and will posses several of these skills, not necessarily all. This position is in person in Norwalk, CT. The assistant must be local to or willing to travel to Norwalk, CT on a regular basis. Compensation will be hourly and will be based on experience.

Requirements

Schedule flexibility - Projects come and go on a random schedule. The ability to adapt your schedule is required.

In or near Norwalk, CT - This position is in person, working remotely is not an option

Eligible to work in USA - This is a freelance/contractor position.

Received all vaccinations for COVID-19.

Applicable skills

The following is a list of applicable skills. It is not important to posses all of these skills, but rather a healthy mix of a few of them

  • Sign painting/brush lettering

  • Hand Lettering

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • Spray painting

  • Murals/public art

  • Wood working

  • Power tools

  • Airbrushing

  • General studio tasks (color mixing or organizing for example)

  • Repetitive tasks (sanding for example)
